Research On Interactive Development Of Xiamen Port And Economy

With the continuous development of economic globalization and information technology,the development of the port city in China has step into a new historical period.As an important node to connect the marine and land transportation,the port economy has become more and more important in the development of the city economy.Xiamen,as the leading city of Hercynian regional economy development,the port of which played a very important role in the process of city’s economic development and has made some favorable conditions for the city and economic development.At the some time,the development of the city economic of Xiamen has laid a solid foundation for the port development.In the new period,the factors of the national economic has stepped into transitional period and the construction of free trade area have made the interaction of port and economy become more complex,so how to make the interaction and coordinated development come true has become a hot topic.Based on the summary of the theory about the interaction of port and city and the study of predecessors,this paper firstly analyzes the economy and the development status of Xiamen,then analyzes the interaction mechanism of the port and city qualitatively.Secondly,this paper uses gray correlation model to analyze the correlation of all factors of the system of port and economy,then uses the regression to calculate the mutual contribution between port and economic,which can help to clear the interactive development between port and economic.Finally,this paper uses principal analysis to evaluation the comprehensive development level of Xiamen port and city economic,and analyzes the the coordination condition by using coordination degree model,then put forward some suggestions for the development of port and city economic interactions.This paper combined the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to analyze the interaction of port and city economic,which make the port and city economy as a composite system and combine the economic transformation and the construction of free trade zone.This paper further clarity the interactive relation of port and city economy,and put forward some development suggestions,which has certain reference significance for better research of harbour city connotation,the interactive development of the new harbor city,port and urban economydevelopment,better and more harmonious interaction to deepen understanding the port city of law of development and speed up the implementation of "beautiful xiamen" strategic plan.
