Study On Yangshan Juicy Peach Industry In Wuxi City

Yangshan Town of Wuxi City of Jiangsu Province as well as Feicheng in Shandong Province, Shenzhou in Hebei Province and Fenghua in Zhejiang Province are awarded China’s four major peach-producing areas.Yangshan Juicy Peach industry is considered as the characteristic agricultural industry in Wuxi City.It’s of urgent need to study how to further improve the quality, efficiency and competitiveness of its industrial development.Based on the survey of Yangshan Juicy Peach industry, the development status of Yangshan Peach industry is comprehensively analyzed from the aspects of the peach cultivation, science and technology support, infrastructure construction and project implementation, marketing, brand building and regional image publicity, the expansion of the industry function and policy support. According to the industrial growth analysis, SWOT analysis and scale theory,it is concluded that the industry is in the transition of industry growing phase to industry maturity phase and the growth pattern of the industry is government nurturing and guiding mode. In addition,the strengths.the weaknesses,the external opportunities and challenges of the industry are analyzed. Finally, the objective conditions, necessity, advantages and constraints of the large-scale development of Yangshan Peach industry are discussed.Based on the above analysis,, countermeasures to promote the development of Yangshan Juicy Peach industry are proposed as follows:promoting rational land property circulatin and implement large-scale operations,increasing science and technology support,improving farmers’organization mechanism, protecting the brand and continue to strengthen the brand building,perfecting the distribution channels of peach production,reinforcing infrastructure building,enhancing the level of agricultural information,fostering peach farmers, rationally planning to speed up the construction of ecological and social function of the peach industry to develop its added value.
