Empirical Research On Jiangsu Manufactorying Industry Transfer From The Perspective Of Industry Agglomeration

Industry agglomeration and transfer are common economic phenomenon, manyreserchers from relevant disciplines conduct in-depth research about them. Besides,industry agglomeration and transfer play an important role in regional economicdevelopment, so regional governments regard them into account in formulatingeconomic development plans. Jiangsu province is an important manufacturing base. InJiangsu manufacturing is the main driving force of economic development, coupledwith the international and domestic environment undergoing profound changes, so weneed to focus and research on Jiangsu manufacturing’s latest situation. Based on theabove situation, the article conduct empirical research about Jiangsu manufacturingagglomeration and transfer,which can provide valuable reference for development ofJiangsu manufacturing.In the beginning of this paper, it take a detailed summary of related theories andexplain the background, significance and methods of this study. Then, the article takea theoretical analysis on industry transfer from the perspective of industryagglomeration. Besides, we find the industries with high level agglomeration and itsdistribution area, after analyzing the situation of Jiangsu manufacturing industryagglomeration. The analysis reveals that Jiangsu manufacturing industries have ahigh-level agglomeration in general, but during the period2005to2009, most ofmanufacturing industries agglomeration level show a downward trend. In addition, thedata shows that Jiangsu manufacturing sector remains a serious problem ofunbalanced development, the degree of manufacturing industries agglomeration is in adescending order from south to north. In addition, paper conduct a study on thetransfer of Jiangsu manufacturing industries from the perspective of industryagglomeration and analyze Jiangsu manufacturing industries transfer and its regionalcharacteristics. The data shows that some traditional manufacturing industries aretransferring from other regions to Suzhong and Subei, while they are transferring fromSunan to other regions. Immediately following, the essay, taking textile industry asexample, explain the reason for the manufacturing industry transfer. Finally, I believewe should guide the transfer of industries, promote industrial clustering, formindustrial clusters according to industry agglomeration rules, which can achieve theimprovement of regional economic competitiveness. Based on the above view, I putforward the related policy suggestions.
