This paper is based on the domestic and foreign research on the incentivemechanism and the theory of information demand.It mainly discusses the incentivemechanism problem of management consulting team. It’s clear that the domesticmanagement consulting industry is facing domestic and foreign company competitionand a strong development opportunity. The paper elaborates an important role theinformation resource in the consulting industry playing and it can not be ignored. Onthis basis, through a questionnaire survey, the characteristics and treads of informationsource types, types of information resources and information flow of domesticmanagement consulting companies in providing information consulting services isdiscussed. With incentive theory and application and based on some design principles,the incentive mechanism is combined by the model of information incentive, materialincentive and nonmaterial incentive.Based on the firsthand data of the investigation,it tried to establish the contentand framework of information motivation. First The study on the establishment of anindependent management team can provide real-time management andstandardization to the incentive mechanism. At the same time, innovatively theprocess and results of material incentive and spirit incentive is transformed in theform of information. In addition perfect assessment system is the important part tocontinue the work enthusiasm of the team. Based on this, the initial design forincentive mechanism of implementation steps is completed.The paper chose X management consulting company as a case study.Firstly,through materials and investigation paper attempts to analysis during the consultingservice the characteristics of information demand and how to build the incentivemechanism. And with the previous study,it improved the incentive mechanism of Xcompany. Based on the case study summarized and concluded the important issues.And put forward the research direction in the future.Paper used different research methods. In the review,the literature surveymethod is applied.During the study of information needs system,it used the method ofquestionnaire. At the same time the result is analysised quantitatively and qualitativelyusing the method of Statistical analysis. The questionnaire reliability and validity measurement are conducted. In the design of the questionnaire and the incentiveprocess adopted process analysis method.
