Research On Yunfu Power Plant ERP Project Risk Management And Control

ERP is an effective combination of advanced management ideas and informationtechnology, a great innovation of business management theory. Being based on the concept ofsupply chain, ERP effectively integrates the company’s logistics, information flow and cashflow,achieving the realization of Trinity. It effectively manages and make full use ofenterprise’s existing resources，for example, human resources, capital, materials, equipment,production technology, information and time to achieve maximum profits and improve thecompetitiveness of the enterprise. Successful implementation of ERP projects powerfullysupports rapid development of many enterprises.As the ERP project faces a long period and a great risk of implementation, needs a largecapital investment, involves in a wide range，has no effective standards at home and abroad，many companies failed to achieve the desired results in the implementation of ERPprojects,even suffered significant losses.Based on ERP theory,project management theory,riskmanagement theory and using theory and empirical research method,this paper studiesimplementation and risk control methods of Yunfu Power Plant ERP project.It analyzes thevarious modules of ERP system and module improvements,combining with relevant data toevaluate the effectiveness of its implementation.The company’s ERP system enhances the enterprise’s management level and achievedgood economic results,which demonstrated effective project management and scientific riskcontrol method guarantee the successful implementation of ERP projects.Based on the abovementioned,this paper summarizes the key factors and risk control methods of the successfulimplementation of ERP projects,Separately from the project organization structure, businessprocess recombinant, end-user training, project quality management, project implementationand improvement.
