The Research Of Process Quality Control Of Multi-varieties&Small Batch Manufacturing Enterprises

The increasing fierce competition of the world’s rapid economic development and industrialization promotes the formation of a buyer’s market and the growing demand of product diversification and personalization. Multispecies, small batch, short-cycle production has gradually become the main mode of development of the manufacturing industry. The multispecies and small batch production environment makes variety product, less samples, complexity and instability production system. So it is difficult to get stable characteristics which have brought great difficulty to quality management and control work. We have to find an effective way to manage and control this production mode.This paper is firstly comparing the multi-varieties&small-batch production and the mass production mode to introduce the reason of enterprises choose the multi-varieties&small batch production mode, and also review and summarize the related theories and researches of this kind of production mode. Afterwards raise a quality control method of multi-varieties&small batch based on the group technology. And then analyze the current process quality control system of ABC Company based on the industrial field, manufacturing process and the specific products of ABC Company to point out the problems of many mistakes, unordered processes and scattered quality information on the current process quality control system. Some improvement scenarios is then raising:by using the theory of group technology improve products and process design, use computer information management system for process quality information management and use the statistic process control methods which based on the group technology to quantify the process capability to make sure the timely solution can be taken once quality issue found. These improvement scenarios can control the process quality of multi-varieties&small batches effectively, so that the motor quality can be guaranteed finally. At last, the author summarized the research results and point out the deficiency of this paper.
