The Research Of Air-cooled Chiller Production Line Optimization In KL Company

It plays an important role for the manufacture process of production line in a manufacture company. As we all know, a good manufacture process will help to a company to reduce the operation cost, to control the product cost very well, also will improve the capability and quality of the product. So when a manufacture company need improvement, it is a better and more effective way to optimize the manufacture process of a production line. In order to make the company more competitive, it need optimize the production line continuously.This thesis analyzed the current production line of Air-cooled chiller in KL company and found out the problems of the production line, which used the theories of balance of production line, the facility layout, Just In Time. And we found that the load coefficient of Air-cooled chiller production line was very low and the system was not very balancing. This capability would not meet the demanded in the next two years. So these bottlenecks need to be optimized to eliminate the waste and also need to optimize the production line layout so that the total production line will be more balance and reasonable. After optimization, the takt time of production line could meet the market demanded. The capability and effective of production line in KL company would be improved and offer more competitive product.
