Form the viewpoints of the theory of Lean production, this dissertation studies and analyze the current situation and problems of the assembly lines in HD company. According to the problems, the relevant improving solutions are proposed using Lean theory and tools, which include 7S management, optimization of process flow, improvement of facility layout and line balance. This dissertation introduces the current situation of HD company and studies Lean application for the electrical motor assembly lines in detail.7S was used for assembly lines to improve surroundings of workshop and operators’passion. Process flow, facility layout and line balance were optimized to improve productivity and reduce labor time. Finally, thesis indicated that Lean production play a significant role in on-site administration through the comparing with the key index of assemblies lines before and after implement of Lean production, such as moving distance of materials, line balance rate, productivity and labor time. It also can be acted as a reference for the further implement of Lean management to the whole company in the future.
