Studies On The Development Of Peasant Economic Cooperative Organization

The conflict between the farmer's producing and managing in miniature and the great market of the society will be a basic one in Chinese development of agriculture. As we have entered into WTO, our rural economy will inevitably enter the orbit of economical globalization. To build new socialist rural areas, to develop Chinese rural market economy, and to promote comprehensive development in harmony of national economy, it is vital to boost the quality and competition power of farm produce and to increase efficiently farmer's income. In order to realize this strategic goal, we must solve, in the condition of market economy, the prominent conflict between the farmer's producing and managing in miniature and the great market of the society. And this conflict can be seen especially through the high exchange fee between the farmer and the market and the low efficiency of the exchange. Therefore to enforce the study of the innovation of the farmer's specialty cooperation system and to propose some new ideas to accelerate its healthy and fast development have both theoretic and practical significance.In this paper the author related the prescription of the system and the general process of the development of Chinese farmer's specialty cooperation system, briefly the author reviewed and summarized the major experience and lessons in the development and the reform of the cooperative economy and its system. The author also analyzed the rural supply and marketing cooperative, credit union and such traditional farmer's specialty cooperation system and newly-born cooperation society's performances and deficiencies. The innovation goal, principles and main tasks of Chinese farmer's specialty cooperation system are presented here in this paper. In the last part the author, integrate with china's current practice, related the innovation and the optimization under the circumstances of the outer macroscopic politics, laws and cultural system.
