Competition strategy is the plan and action under the control of the general strategy to guide and manage specific strategic business units. The core problem for enterprise competition strategy to solve is, through the analysis of the internal and external environment of enterprise, how to realize the advantages and disadvantages of the enterprise, face the threat and seize the opportunities, then make correct competition strategic direction and achieve enterprise vision goal.With TongRenTang Taizhou pharmacy Co., LTD as a research object, the strategic management theory as a foundation, this paper discusses the enterprise competition strategy selection and formulate problems. At first, using PEST framework and potter’s five competitive forces model to analyze the external macro environment and medicine retail industry overall environment. Then, from the company’s organization, human resources and enterprise culture, and company’s operation in recent years to analyze internal environment. Finally, according to the internal and external environment factors, points out the strengths and weakness, opportunities and threats of the company with SWOT analysis. Based on this, this paper expounds the necessity of implementing the differentiation strategy and feasibility. In order to carry out the differentiation strategy, the enterprise can make product strategy, service strategy and communication strategies, etc Besides, to ensure the smooth implementation of the differentiation strategy, the company also needs to take relevant measures in the allocation of resources, talents integration and culture construction.
