As one of the pillar industries of the national economy,the construction industry is of great significance in the country's economic development,people's living standards improved,increase employment and other aspects.The current economic environment is stable as well as political environment in China.Because of the good governance,stable economic environment,the continuing investment in infrastructure,steady urbanization and the rapid development of new technologies,the construction industry 's future is very bright.Meanwhile,due to the great numbers of construction enterprises,unreasonable industrial structure,low level of technology application and highly intense competition,many of these enterprises are stuck in the low-level price competition.Thus,how to choose and implement a scientific competition strategy in face of the complex market environment and how to build their unique competitive advantage for most construction advantages have become urgent questions in need of enterprises.Qingdao A construction Co.Ltd is a construction enterprise in Qingdao,and it gets full development after the reform.Due to changes in market demand and business model,the development of the company encountered resistance and bottlenecks.It urgently needs clear strategic development ideas,scientific competitive strategics,and formulation of sound strategic plans.The research on the competitive strategy of this company is very representative.Taking Qingdao A construction Co.Ltd.as the study object,this paper tries to analyze its external environment,industry environment,internal environment,and its strengths,weaknesses,as well as the opportunities and threats it faces by using relevant theories in strategic management and the basic framework and analytical methods of the strategic studies.The strategic positioning and competing objective are then identified by adopting the tools of strategic analysis and choice.This paper holds that it should try to catch the opportunities,make use of its advantages,avoid risks and differentiate itself from its peers in terms of project quality,full service,working efficiency and construction technologies.it should follow a competitive strategy that focuses on differentiation with some advantages.At the same time,the paper points out that the company should take actions to realize the competition strategy in its management strategy,marketing,technological development,human resources,brand building,and funds management etc.Studies have shown that the Qingdao A construction Co.Ltd.strategy and measures for implementation are feasible,which will further enrich our national construction enterprises competitive strategy research and has the application value and practical significance.
