Based on business practices of Chinese tobacco industry, this paper conducted in-depth research about enterprise’s executives’performance evaluation mechanism. The theoretical bases of this research are agent theory and human capital theory. This paper summarized the development of CEO’s performance evaluation in China and western world, especially for the evaluation of state-owned enterprise managers. With the introduction about the specificity of Chinese tobacco industry and the current CEO’s evaluation system, this paper analyzed its achievements and potential shortcomings. Then, the author discussed the blueprint about future development of tobacco’s CEO performance evaluation. Finally, this paper gave some detailed improvement suggestions on CEO performance evaluation for Chinese tobacco enterprise. |
