Study On Operating Mechanism Of Public Rental Housing In Wuhan

With the development of Wuhan Urban Construction, more and more people influxed in Wuhan City, they are making lives here but can’t buy any houses here, because of the high price. Unfortunately neither affordable housing plan nor low rent plan can provide them because the household registration restrictions and income limits,and these people called "Sandwish Stratum". In order to solve the housing problem of the sandwich Stratum,a new kind of "Public Rental Housing"was born in2009. Wuhan City began implementation of this plan in2011. Expected in the next five years, the Wuhan municipal government and Private enterprise will invest in the construction of200,000public rental housing.The paper learned from previous studies and its theoretical basis inculd the welfare economies theory, welfare statetheory, housing security theory, housing filtration theory and social stratification theory. Through the collection and collation of data, clarify the development of housing security system and public rental housing plan of Wuhan City. Find problems of public rental housing in Wuhan.
