As a new research area of organizational behavior, the research history of organizational politics is not long, which began in the1970s and mainly focus on the connotation, influence factors, behavior way and moral judgments of political behavior in organization, as well as correlational researches of the perceptions of organizational politics. Among them, the proposal of the concept of perceptions of organizational politics brought about substantial progress for the once stagnated research of political behaviors in organization. Scholars started to expand a series of researches about antecedents, outcomes and regulatory factors in the perceptions of organizational politics. Employees’performance level is a consequence variable of perceptions of organizational politics. Performance level is always a core problem that enterprise managers are most concern about. Nowadays, in addition to the formal task performance, what enterprises more expect is the employees’ voluntary behavior to work more than that organizations have regulated, which can contribute to performance level. This kind of contextual performance provides effective social and psychological environment support for the generation of work performance of individuals and organizations so as to better drive the overall efficiency of organizations to develop.This paper, taking employees in Wuhan foreign enterprises as research group, investigates the relationships between political consciousness and contextual performance, drives up the improvement of contextual performance by guiding employees correctly understand organizational politics and lower the level of perceptions of organizational politics in line with the structure obtained from the questionnaire surveys and data analysis, as well as put forward advices for human resources management of Wuhan foreign company according to the characteristics of. The full text is divided into parts as following:First of all is introduction, which mainly introduces the research background, meaning and purpose, and illustrates the thoughts and structural arrangement of the research.The first part is literature review, which summarizes the relevant literatures about the perceptions of organizational politics and contextual performance, including the concept and model of perceptions of organizational politics, the division and measurement of dimensions, as well as the concept and dimension of contextual performance. Finally, the article briefly summarizes related researches about previous perceptions of organizational politics and contextual performance. The secondly part is about the proposal of research hypotheses, which constructs the model and various assumptions of this paper following the summary of previous studies.The third part is about the introduction of research methods and tools, including various research methods, measuring tools, preliminary survey analysis and the revision of questionnaires used in this paper.The forth part is about the questionnaire investigation and statistical analysis by using statistical software to do correlation analysis and regression analysis of the data get from the investigations, to verify the hypothesis, and draw a conclusion.The fifth part is about results discussion and management advices. Based on the results of this paper, the article launches a discussion, offers advices for the present management situation of human resources in Wuhan foreign enterprises, and points out the innovations and deficiencies of the study, as well as the details that need further perfection or verification.
