With the steady and rapid development of our country’s economy, our country’sfinancial system has grown rapidly and plays a more and more important role on thedevelopment of national economy since our country’s reform and opening-up. CityCommercial Bank of Shandong Province plays a huge role in the local economicdevelopment.《The Twelfth Five Year Plan on Economic and social development ofShandong Province》has clearly put forward four economic layout objects. And thisprovides an important opportunity for the development of City Commercial Bank ofShandong Province. However, the problems of the market positioning of blindness andresembling have being existed in the development process of City Commercial Bank ofShandong Province. The healthy and stable development of the City Commercial Bankof Shandong Province has also been affected and restricted by the two problems.Based on the Financial Symbiosis Theory and the “12thfive-year plan” of ShandongProvince, how to clear market positioning about the City Commercial Bank of Shandongprovince will be explored by the theoretical analysis of the maket positioning of the CityCommercial Bank of Shandong province. The maket positioning theoretical referencewill be provided for the City Commercial Bank of Shandong Province. Therecommendations about the clear maket positioning will be provided for the CityCommercial Bank of Shandong province. So the development of the City CommercialBank of Shandong Province will be promoted. And the role on the development of theShandong province economy will be better played.The Financial Symbiosis Theory will be firstly introduced and the financial andeconomic symbiosis will be analyzed firstly from two levels of macroscopic andmicrocosmic. And then, the maket positioning problems of the City Commercial Bank ofShandong Province and the causes of the problems will be analyzed which are based on theFinancial Symbiosis Theory and the maket positioning current situation of the CityCommercial Bank of Shandong. Finally, the conclusions about the market positioning ofCity Commercial Bank in Shandong Province are that the customers should be located in the Non-high-tech small and medium enterprises and urban residents. And the productpositioning should be located in the retail financial products. And the regionalpositioning should be located in the regional banks and community banks firstly. Thenwith the development of the City Commercial Bank in Shandong Province, a real highlevel aliance of City Commercial Banks should be achieved gradually.
