In the21st century, as the deepening of economic globalization, knowledge economyrise generally, many countries put the focus of economic development in small andmedium-sized enterprises of science and technology. Small and medium-sized enterprisesof science and technology have become a notable in economic activity and they have thedevelopment prospects of enterprises. Small and medium enterprises play a very importantrole on promoting the country or region’s economic growth and the improvement ofcountry or region’s economic comprehensive strength. Small and medium-sized scienceand technology enterprise’s competition is actually the core competitiveness of thecompetition between enterprises, enterprises in the development of key lies in thecultivation and development of the enterprise’s core competitiveness. And small andmedium-sized enterprise core competitive power of science and technology is the key toknowledge and technology innovation capability and core technology.The article uses the theory research combined with case analysis, combiningqualitative and quantitative analysis research methods, such as, in summary both at homeand abroad for small and medium-sized enterprise core competitive power of science andtechnology, on the basis of theory research and evaluation research, the concept of smalland medium-sized enterprise’s core competitive power of science and technology andcharacteristics are analyzed. On this basis, by using value chain analysis method for smalland medium-sized enterprise’s core competitive power of science and technology factorswere analyzed, and concluded the main factors of small and medium-sized enterprise’s corecompetitive power of science and technology. Then according to the factors the fuzzyhierarchy comprehensive evaluation method for small and medium-sized enterprise’s corecompetitive power of science and technology study on building and evaluation indexsystem. Lastly, actual company for empirical research, according to the above establishedevaluation index system and evaluation model to evaluate the enterprise’s corecompetitiveness, and aims at the enterprise’s core competitiveness improvementSuggestions has been proposed, the empirical part of the paper is verified to build smalland medium-sized enterprise core competitiveness evaluation index system of science and technology is feasible and scientific.In today’s rapid development of science and technology, science and technology,small and medium enterprises face unprecedented opportunities and challenges. How tohave core competitiveness of the enterprise, keep the competitive advantage of enterprises,is a primary issue on small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises. Thisstudy to evaluate the core competitiveness of small and medium-sized science andtechnology has provided the theory and method, which helps to strengthen the small andmedium-sized science and technology enterprise’s sustainable competitive advantage.
