Research On Influencing Factors Of Innovation Performance Of Small And Medium-sized Science And Technology Enterprises In Jiangsu Province

Innovation is the soul of sustainable development of enterprises.Since the implementation of innovation-driven development strategy,innovation environment has been continuously optimized,innovation vitality has been continuously enhanced,innovation carriers have been emerging,innovation subjects have been increasing,and innovation atmosphere has become more and more strong,which provides new impetus for the sustainable development of enterprises,especially small and medium-sized enterprises.As a major innovation province in China,Jiangsu Province has been in the forefront of innovation index for many years.However,in 2017,the regional innovation capacity of Jiangsu Province was surpassed by Guangdong Province,breaking the pattern that Jiangsu Province has maintained the first place in the past nine years.In 2018,Jiangsu Province's regional innovation capability was surpassed by Beijing,and Jiangsu Province fell to the third place.Jiangsu Province has insufficient stamina for regional innovation and development,and its innovation vitality needs to be further stimulated.As an important part of Jiangsu's economic structure,small and medium-sized enterprises make the greatest contribution to employment,to the development of the national economy,and directly related to people's livelihood and social harmony and stability.Small and medium-sized enterprises have high degree of marketization,strong adaptability and wide coverage.They have shown a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in production(service)management,product and service sales,market development and financing development.Moreover,small and medium-sized enterprises clusters or industrial parks have achieved remarkable results in promoting the development of industrial linkages.However,as an important part of China's social and economic operation system,small and medium-sized enterprises have some problems in the process of innovation,such as financing difficulties,lack of innovative talents,poor risk resistance,slow access to information resources and poor external environment,which seriously hinder the innovation and development of small and medium-sized enterprises.How to stimulate the innovation vitality of small and medium-sized enterprises,improve their innovation performance and promote their sustainable development is an important problem that needs to be solved urgently in Jiangsu Province.This paper takes how to optimize the innovation ecosystem of small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises and how to improve their innovation performance as research issues.Taking the small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises in Jiangsu Province as research objects,through field visits and research,combined with previous research results,this paper studies and analyses the internal and external influencing factors of innovation performance of small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises in Jiangsu Province from the perspective of micro-enterprises.Based on the theory of enterprise innovation system and innovation ecosystem,the innovation model of small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises in Jiangsu Province is constructed,and the impact of internal and external factors on enterprise innovation performance is studied.In addition,this paper also designs the evaluation index system of innovation ecosystem of small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises in Jiangsu Province from the micro level,and evaluates and analyses the innovation ecosystem of small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises in Jiangsu Province,pointing out the direction of optimization of innovation ecosystem of small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises.Based on the previous research results and field interviews,this paper explores and identifies the internal and external influencing factors of innovation performance of small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises in Jiangsu Province.There are eight dimensions and 26 corresponding elements,which are enterprise strategy dimension(strategic planning,strategic positioning),enterprise organization dimension(organizational structure,innovation management,enterprise system),enterprise resources dimension(R&D platform,technology,capital,talent),enterprise culture dimension(innovation atmosphere,entrepreneurship)four internal organizational dimensions and market environment dimensions(market demand,technological development,market competition,operating cost),social environment dimensions(basic conditions,service system,service cost,service quality),policy environment dimensions(government service efficiency,policy implementation,fund subsidy,tax rationality,innovation support),financial environment dimensions(financing channels,financing costs)four external environmental dimensions of enterprises.Empirical research shows that internal and external factors have a positive impact on enterprise innovation performance as a whole.Among them,enterprise resources and corporate culture have a positive and significant impact on enterprise innovation performance;market environment has a positive and significant impact on enterprise strategy and enterprise resources;financial environment has a positive and significant impact on enterprise innovation performance;social environment has a positive and significant impact on enterprise strategy and enterprise resources;policy environment has a positive and significant impact on enterprise strategy;organizational system has a positive and significant impact on enterprise strategy;It affects enterprise resources,and then indirectly and positively affects enterprise innovation performance.In addition,the evaluation results show that the innovation ecosystem of small and medium-sized science and technology enterprises in Jiangsu Province needs to be further optimized,especially the financial and social ecological environment.The government should innovate the way of management and service,build a transparent and efficient government environment,build a perfect social service system,optimize the financing environment of enterprises and increase financial support.On the other hand,enterprises should formulate detailed and reasonable enterprise innovation development plans according to the external environment,constantly improve enterprise management mechanism,strengthen cooperation and exchanges with other enterprises,universities and scientific research institutes,and develop innovation.
