| With the implementing of the reform and opening-up policy of China, domesticindustries have been thriving a lot in the past years. As a relatively new industry, thedomestic logistics industry also got an enormous development. Now the domestic logisticsindustry is the one of the pillar industries in national economy.While the domestic logistics industry has been developing quickly, the brain drainphenomenon of the industry has been very serious. One reason is that lots of domesticlogistics companies only pay attention to the rapid business development; ignore the careerdevelopment of their employees, so the employees leave the company soon after the yentered it. Another reason is that working pressure of logistics industry is really high whichmake lots of talent especially young talent choose to leave the industry and turn to otherindustry. Compared with other industries like foreign trade industry or manufacturingindustry, the rate of talent flight in the logistics industry is really high. For this problem,the paper guided by the brain drain theories and dedicated to direct the domestic logisticscompanies to solve the emergent brain drain problem.Through analyzing the reason of talent flight in company C, the paper gives thecountermeasure of brain drain problem in logistics companies. During the analysis process,some necessary research method like satisfaction survey and exit interviews are used to getthe first-hand data of the company C in order to achieve the really reason behind the braindrain phenomenon. The research result shows that the main reasons for the problem are asbelow: lack of career guidance for the employees, unsuitable mana gement style for theemployees, lack of cohesion inside the company, the unfair of performance assessment andthe unreasonable pay structures.After realizing the main reasons for the loss of talent in company C, the paper thengives several countermeasures for the problem. For example, from the firm level, newrecruitment system is required for avoiding the talent flight from the fountainhead, fromthe department level, the manager should be train to be more effective while communicating with their subordinates. Also there are other countermeasures to togethersolve the company’s problem.Besides, the paper also gives a particular implementation plan including difficult pointanalysis and result evaluation, thus to guarantee the final effect of the givencountermeasures. The research method and the conclusion of the paper also have thereference meaning for other logistics enterprises. |
