With growth of company and sales increasing, product lines will add continouly; the tools of products increased more, the related spare parts demand increased.In the meanwhile, with a stable increase of spare parts demand, spare parts demand management has been a problem in S company. One is the short of spare parts diretly causing line stop, order delayed, another is the excess of dull stocks in warehouse. How to balance the two aspects has become a research topic.In view of the above problem,this paper takes S company as a case to study the management of spare parts demand forecasting, analysis of demand management problem, collecting the spare parts consumption data, determine the forecast target, through quantitative prediction models for S company, and validate the model practicability to guild the actual order. At the same time from system management, staffing to ensure that the prediction method of execution in practice, so as to achieve the purpose of the solving the problem. |
