Study On Peasants’ Participation Of Land Expropriation System

With the rapid development of our society, land expropriation problems has caused much attentions. The land plays an very important role for peasants, which is the basic guarantee for their survival and their daily life. In recent years, public participation, as the importance of the new way of socialist democracy, has developed rapidly. And it has attracted a wide attention of the community. So in the normal development and implementation of land acquisition compensation, it is valuable to discuss how to engaged the participation effectively to guarantee their legitimate rights and interests. The paper is divided into three parts. Firstly, the theory of compensation for land expropriation and public participation theory are discussed. Secondly, we discussed the situation and problems of the peasants" participation in the course of land expropriation. Thirdly, the discussion we take is how to improve the level of peasants’participation in the course of the land expropriation.
