Since the1990s,the world has entered the era of technology and Information.The economic developed rapidly,global economic integration gradually formed,and humanity has entered the era of global competition. Against this background,the competition has expanded to the city. The status of the city has changed greatly,and the cities began to scramble for production factors and resource.In order to meet challenge,the city should have new concept,so the city-marketing became inevitable choice.City manage should make great effort to attract attention of the target groups,secure more resource,promote social and economic development of their own city, improve the comprehensive competitiveness,and grape the opportunities in the competition.Lang Fang, Beijing-Tianjin corridor, also faces the serious challenge from home and abroad. How to make accurate positioning? How to effectively implement the city marketing strategy? How to enhance the competitiveness of city? These are important questions for Langfang to settle.Based on the Marketing and Strategy theory,the thesis describes the city-marketing research status at home and abroad,does strategy analysis on city-marketing of Langfang, analyses the target market,and points out strategic positioning of Langfang.Then the thesis summarizes the strategy used in the city marketing process, and analyzes the questionnaires, sums up the experience and insufficient in the process of Langfang city marketing, and proposes appropriate strategies.
