A Strategic Research On Private Banking Business Of C Bank Tianjin Branch

Private bank, which is the comprehensive institution that provide financial businesses and non-financial business to the high net worth clients and is full of personality and privacy. Private bank is composed of the wealth management, the investment bank, the trust and other relative business. In2012, the global economy growing complex and drastically, the macro economics and the change of the growing method is the main target of China. Compared to the growth in the global wealth market up and down, the private bank of China is the highlight in the wealth management market in the past year.At the moment, analyzing the situation of the private bank of the C Bank and previewing the future is very important. Although, the private bank in the country shaping up through the rapid development in six years, there is no commercial bank having found a suitable developing road for the private bank. This paper emphasis on the situation and problem of the private bank in the country and give the proposals to the Tianjin branch of C bank for its development on the basis of learning from the advanced experience of foreign private banks.Firstly, the article focusing on the excellent private bank at home and abroad, do an overview of the outstanding experience. Secondly, we use PEST analysis and Porter’s Five Forces Analysis model to find the external political, economic, social and technical factors, and compare the competitor and the potential entrants. Thirdly, we summary the strength, weakness, opportunity, and challenge of Tianjin branch of C bank after the SWOT analysis to the bank. Finally, according to the last analysis and C Bank’s ’honor, privacy, professional, robust’ hundreds year old which is its strategic objective, we give the suggestion about talent, services, brand building to help the private bank of C Bank Tianjin Branch to get the goal.
