Relationship Between Congnition Of Technology,Technical Activities Management,and Technology Innovation

In the era of knowledge-driven economy, technology innovation has become an important factor in driving economic development.As our country has realized the importance of technology innovation, the investment on technology research and development is increasing constantly with the year. Yet therei still exists some problems in many industries such as "hollowing out of the core technology", the poor innovation performance and so on. Mainly due to lacking reasonable technical activity management leads to the low efficiency of researching and utilizing technology. In order to promote the technology innovation in China, we need to re-recognize the causes and effects of technical activity management, and it is practically significant to discuss how technical activities management can be driven and to find out what kind of technical activities management is more conductive to technology innovation.On the basis of analysing the existing research achievement related home and abroad, the concept of technical activities management and its four dimensions(variables)—technology scouting management, technology implanting management, technology absorbing management, technology originating management—are defined; the four stages of constructing the technology chain are summaried,namely the assembly production stage, the key manufacturing technology stage, the core components technology stage and the top technical standard stage; indentify the antecedent variable of technical activities management—enterpreneurs’ congnition of technology; explore the effect of congnition of technology on the different dimensions of technical activities management and the effect of the different dimensions of technical activities management on technology innovation performance; taking the different stages that different assembly product enterprises located as the classified variables, the different impact of the four variables--technology scouting management, technology implanting management, technology absorbing management, technology originating management--on technology innovation performance is discussed; finally wether the impact of technology cognition to technology innovation is transmitted by technical activities management is discussed.In this paper,202valid enterprise samples are carried on an empirical analysis of statistics using the software of SPSS18.0and lisrel8.70. And the results show that technology cognition has significantly positive effect on all dimensions of technical activities management. All dimensions of technical activities management have significantly positive effect on technology innovation performance. In assembly production stage, technology implanting management and technology absorbing management are the key influential factors for technology innovation performance.In the key manufacturing technology stage, technology absorbing management and technology originating management are the key influential factors for technology innovation performance. In the core components technology stage, technology originating management and technology absorbing management are the key influential factors for technology innovation performance. In the top technical standard stage, technology originating management and technology scouting management are the key influential factors for technology innovation performance. Technical activities management plays a mediating role in the process of technology cognition influceing the technology innovation performance. In addition, taking Media Microwave Oven division as a detail example, the dynamic changes of the technology cognition and technical activities management are presented, and the the influence of the technology cognition and technical activities management to technology innovation performace is also presented. Finally, the reference significance of the conclusion to enterprises and research prospect are elaborated.
