Construction And Application Of Comprehensive Performance Evaluation System Of Commercial Banks

Finance is the core of the economy, while the commercial banks are the core of the financial.Bank performance evaluation is the research focus in the field of finance at home and abroad.Western countries began to study the problem of commercial bank performance evaluation in thedecades before, through continuous exploration and development in the theoretical and practical，study of the commercial bank performance evaluation has been more and more perfect. However,the research on commercial bank performance evaluation in our country started late, the currentperformance evaluation are mostly can only reflect the historical operations results of commercialbank, and can not conduct a comprehensive evaluation on the level of commercial bankperformance, simply can’t adapt to the new needs of commercial bank performance evaluationunder new situation of economic development. Therefore, how to based on the development statusquo of China’s commercial banks, through objective and learn the valuable experience of Westerncountries, operating performance of the commercial banks in China to make objective, accurate,comprehensive evaluation, building suitable performance evaluation system of commercial banksfor China’s national conditions, and find the existing problems in the process of bank management,and formulate effective performance improvement countermeasures so as to strengthen the corecompetitiveness of commercial banks in China have very great practical significance.Based on the current performance evaluation method of comparison and analysis of the basis,follow the modern commercial bank’s development direction and requirements, appropriate learningand absorbing foreign advanced commercial Banks in the forefront of the method of operation andmanagement, adjust and improve the performance evaluation system of commercial banks in China.Specifically, this paper to commercial bank performance evaluation as the main research content,first of all to commercial Banks and the connotation of the performance evaluation, and thenelaborates on the comparison and analysis of various commercial bank performance evaluationtools of the principle, advantages and disadvantages of, this paper introduces two kinds of newperformance evaluation method of EVA and BSC, analysis the overlap between point andcomplementarity, and finally construct a comprehensive performance evaluation system for thecommercial banks. Comparison and analysis14listed commercial banks operating performance using the comprehensive performance evaluation system, in order to have some inspiration and helpthe development of commercial banks in China.
