Interaction Research Between Foreign Trade And Industrial Structure Of Xinjiang

Since the reform and opening up policy, China economy has made attractiveachievements, the topic of “Foreign trade is the engine of economic development” isdemonstrated once again; Besides, the foreign trade amount plays an important role ineconomic aggregate, in the meantime the adaptation of industrial structure graduallydevelops, thus what is the relationship between them and what are the problemsexisting needed to be solved urgently are needed to study and to server for theeconomic development. In the process, the foreign trade of Xinjiang also developrapidly, especially the geographic advantages takes the characteristic competitivenessto the development of Xinjiang. To better guarantee and promote Xinjiang economyto develop healthily, the research of the relationship between foreign trade andindustrial structure has an important significance.The present research mainly emphasize on the relationship between industrialstructure and economy growth, also the foreign trade and economy growth. There isfewer researches on the relation between foreign trade and industrial structure,especially those focused on Xinjiang. Its theory system has not been formed.Therefore the research focuses on geographic characteristics and industrial structure,integrated with Xinjiang distinct geographic resource characteristics，from two aspectsof theory and measure demonstration, analyses the internal relation between foreigntrade and industrial structure, and the impact one would have on the other when it getsexogenous shocks, also the time length of the effect is included in the research. Basedon these research, a much perfect analysis result would be achieved, besides somepolicy suggestions on Xinjiang industrial restructure, foreign trade expanding andpromoting the stable and long-term economics development would also be made,hoping they can make some contributions to Xinjiang economy developmentThis article has six parts: the first part is introduction, introducing researchbackground, purpose and significance, research methods and innovation of this article; The second part is the literature review which mainly summarizes related literature athome and abroad, also evaluates it; The third part introduces relevant theories inforeign trade and industrial structure, and elaborates the relationship of foreign tradeand industrial structure from three aspects which are the relate theory of foreign trade,of industrial structure and the relationship between industrial structure and foreigntrade; The fourth part is the description and analysis of status of regional economicdevelopment of Xinjiang Province, finds out the differences and particularity of thisregion with the rest of the country from the conditions of foreign trade, industrialstructure and the form and trend of development; Part v is the empirical analysisbetween the industrial structure and the foreign trade of Xinjiang Province. Using themethods of ADF test, Cointegration test, Granger causality test and Impulse response,this article analyses the relationships of them, finds out the size and length of timebetween variables, calculate the relative importance of each variable, analyzes theoptimization of the trend according to the empirical results; The sixth is divided intoconclusions analysis and policy recommendations. This part mainly analyzes theresults of the empirical analysis, and puts forward improved methods and policysuggestions, in order to achieving the long-term good interaction of foreign trade andindustrial structure, and ensuring the rapid economic development of XinjiangProvince.
