The Research Of The Operating Mechanism Reengineering In WHC

The banking industry competition is becoming increasingly fierce:the financial products are becoming more and more homogeneous; profit margins have been squeezed; service differentiation is becoming a hot spot of competition between Banks. To make it more clearly, every bank now takes operation mechanism improvement as a prerequisite to provide service differentiation.Process reengineering is the core part of operation mechanism improvement. Commercial banks should focus on process mechanism improving and then make the competitive ability increased.WHC bank has always attached great importance to adopt advanced operating mechanism. When WHC was newly founded, it depended on its vast overseas agent channels to improve its operating mechanism. When WHC was allowed to operate RMB business, process improvement focused on internal payment and settlement business. After joining the RMB payment and settlement system, the combination of foreign currency and RMB business process and RMB payment and settlement business process took WHC business into the new era. Recently the new service platform integrated the telephone banking, online banking, self-service terminals, and other electronic channels into one system and now self-service terminal cards can be used everywhere. Advanced operating mechanism brings a broader development space for WHC and it also raises the competitive ability of WHC. But recently, there exist some habitual defects in the operation mechanism of WHC and they should be improved urgently.Work as the COO of WHC, I am in charge of tracking changes in modern operating mechanism and introduce them to actual work.This topic first introduces the current situation of WHC operating mechanism, and then finds the existing problems and their causes. Finally, in order to improve the operating efficiency of WHC, some improvement measures are suggested:improving the separation degree of the front and back office business, improving the existing organization structure, realizing the standardization of operating processing standards, and building centralized system platform. And I hope these proposed operation mechanism improvement measures can give some reference for other Banks.
