The Construction Of New Rural Communities Of Jiyuan City

After the construction of central China economic zone identified as national strategy, the coordinated development of new industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization without sacrificing agriculture and food, ecology and environment has become one of the most important implementation issues in Henan province. As a pilot city of urban-rural integration in Henan, Jiyuan, after years of practical exploration, has obtained significant achievements. By the end of2012, the urbanization rate in the city has reached53.44%,11%higher than the average in Henan and also higher than the national level. So the in-depth study of the new rural community construction led by new urbanization in Jiyuan is of important significance. Based on the historical change in the rural area and through analyzing history and reality and combining overall summary and typical case analysis, the paper makes deep study after grasping the concept, characteristics, background of new rural community construction and its developing features in various cities and provinces, especially focusing on the construction in Jiyuan. It objectively realizes the difficulties and focus issues and the influencing factors in the construction and puts forward countermeasures. It also offers basis for enriching the theory of rural community construction and guiding the practice under the leading of new urbanization.
