Budget hotel groups are a new form in China’s hotel industry which has witnessed a powerful force for development and is one of the key areas of creating national brands. Foreign budget hotel brands enter the hotel market in China and occupy more and more market share that has put serious impact on national budget hotel brand. As China’s budget hotel develops, China’s economy hotel market competition is becoming fiercer and fiercer. Some budget hotels even take the price war which is not only bad for themselves but the whole market. Meanwhile, the problem has become more prominent in China’s budget hotel development, lack of standardized management, unclear property rights; lack of scale, etc, one of the most serious problems is lack of core competitiveness.In order to nurture competitiveness of China’s budget hotel and help the managers have a clear understanding of their competitiveness. This article starts from the evaluation factors, namely, reality competitiveness, developing competitiveness, potential competitiveness, then, gets the evaluation result of budget hotels by the entropy method and grey correlation analysis method.Homeinn,7Days, Hanting Hotel are the top3in the market share list2012.The writer take the3for example, checked their financial report and got the evaluation result of competitiveness. According to the result, the writer raises the measures from macro and micro aspect. Firstly, the budget hotels should have a clear understanding of budget hotel and seek long-term development. Secondly, budget hotels should innovate products and service, meet the personality need of all kinds of customers.
