The lathe is the most widely used in the machine tool. At present, more then4.5million lathe in our country. There are considerable lathe which face the technical orfunctional phase-out and end-of-life every year. Under this background, the machineremanufacturing industrial is on the rise gradually in our country, and the machineremanufacturing also turn into the research hotspots. With the development of research,lathe redesign has become a bottleneck for further development of machine toolremanufacturing. For this reason this paper focuses on the lathe remanufacturing,analyzes the lathe remanufacturing process characteristics and the logical relationshipbetween steps. Therefore putting forward lathe remanufacturing scheme design andevaluation, and developing the tool redesign support system.First, the lathe manufacturing process is planned base on analyzing the lathemanufacturing life cycle characteristics, and then constructing the lathesremanufacturing integrated support system.Then, present the lathe remanufacturing scheme design content and guidelines andbuild the initial remanufacturing scheme design logic relationship and the logicrelationship between the design criteria and the scheme design.Next, constructing the index system with the idea of graph theory and calculatingthe dominated index weight according to the lathe remanufacturing scheme targetsrelationship. And then present the disposable indicators assessment methods and assessthe lathe remanufacturing scheme comprehensively with the AHP and the expertassessment method.Last, in the cooperation with a company in Chongqing, the theoretical research anddevelopment of machine tools redesign support system are adopted to the lathe CK6136remanufacturing. Therefore verify the practicality of the theory in this article.The studies in this paper have a very important significance for optimizing thelathe manufacturing solutions, reducing the remanufacturing scheme design cycle,accumulating the remanufacturing experience, improving the manufacturing quality.
