| In this paper, the common failure modes and mechanism of the spindle of the lathe are analyzed; according to the remanufacturing technology which are commonly used presently, the special repairing technology which can be used for surface repairing are introduced. In this paper,45# steel is selected as the test material, which is commonly used. Many failure modes of the spindle is simulated by the way of machining on the 45# steel specimens. According to the failure characteristics and performance requirements of the specimen, room temperature cold welding remelting technology and the inverter pulse brush plating technology are selected to repair them.The macroscopic morphology, bonding strength, microstructure and microhardness of the repaired specimens are tested, the results show that the fill material and the substrate have similary color, high bonding strength is achieved, and there is no hard points, deformation or crack after the cold welding technology at room temperature; brush plating and specimen are combined well, the specimen’s surface microstructure is densed and uniform and there is no cracks or bubbles, that is to say, the wear resistance of the repair layer is significantly enhanced after inverter pulse brush plating technology used.Based on the experiment, the simulation analysis of the temperature field of the repaired specimens with the cold remelting technology at room temperature are carried out. The temperature distribution at different time points of the specimens is analyzed. At the same time, the change of temperature on different nodes of specimens are researched. According to the analysis results, we get that, with this repair technology, the changes of the metallographic are avoided by the slowing cooling. The good quality of repairing is achieved. Refer to the analysis results, reasonable adjustment and renovation of equipment parameters can be taken to obtain the best effects of both efficiency and quality. |
