In recent years, the country has more and more attention to production safety of coalenterprises, wireless communication technology as a useful complement to the downholecommunication, scheduling, monitoring and so on, which has been widely used in the productionmanagement of coal enterprise. WIFI wireless communication technology with its easy tonetwork, transmission speed advantages are applied in various industries, which has the broadprospects for development.According to the business requirements of practical application, combining with the resultsof theory research, it is put forward that mining downhole multi-function integratedcommunication system model based on the WIFI, controller+thin AP architecture of thedistributed wireless network structure is designed based on wireless in this paper. Downholemulti-function integrated communication system effectively make up for the existingunderground communication system function single, faults of intelligent shortage, a personnelpositioning check on work attendance, downhole environment detection, inoue dispatchingmanagement, accident emergency measures, intelligent human-machine interaction, and othersubsystem are realized.According to the overall model, the software and hardware of the system are designed.Firstly, the system equipment terminal hardware selection and the overall design, LPC2378based on ARM7architecture as the core processor, a complete set of hardware system is set up,the attendance, wireless communication, environmental detection and voice communications andother functions circuit designs are completed, prototype is developed successfully. The overallsystem software design and implementation in the system hardware platform, to memory thereasonable planning, establishes a complete set of feasible communication agreement with ahandshake mechanism, achieves more equipment and transmission, completes based on signalstrength of the localization algorithm realization process research and improved the algorithmmay appear multipath effect shortcomings, realizes the WIFI communication, personnelpositioning, attendance, environmental monitoring, intelligent human-machine interaction andinoue scheduling management function of the software design.Finally, the mine underground multi-function integrated communication system has been developed, which has function that include a new wireless communication, personnel positioning,credit card and fingerprint attendance, the gas concentration acquisition, temperature andhumidity data gathering, downhole operation management, human life signs detection and voicecommunication and so on. And the system overall test is completed, the system operating isnormal, the desired effect is completed.
