In recent years, the proportion of secondary fiber in papermaking industry increasesdgradually, Waste paper had become one of the important raw material for paper industry. But inthe process of waste paper recycling, there are some problems, the stickies and ink was the mostprominent. Recently, stickies in waste paper recycling had drawn more and more widespreadconcern, so now the stickies had become a serious problem in the recycling waste paper andrequired to be solved urgently. In this paper, using electrostatic copy paper as raw material, and dyed pressure-sensitiveadhesive(PSA) labels method to analyze different types of surfactants, and flocculant agent tothe stickies’effect, and its impact on the mechanism analysis of the research, The results were asfollows:1. The dyed adhesive lable added in copy paper pulp to analysis stickies was feasible, and thismethod was simple and easy to observe.2. The cationic surfactant (CTAB) on stickies content in pulp system had a strong dispersioneffect; Anionic surfactant (SDBS) on stickies content in the pulp system had certain dispersioneffect, but the effect was not obvious. Nonionic surfactant (M) for stickies had a slightagglomerate affect.3. The flocculant (M0) to stickies in pulp system had a good agglomeration effect, but the effectof flocculant was not strengthened with the increase of the dosage. When M0dosage was0.5%,the flocculant can achieved the best effect, the optimum value before and after sieving theaverage particle size were0.2095and0.1475mm2respectively; Different amount of CTAB at thebest flocculant (M0) conditions, played a certain role of agglomerati, relative to the individualunder the effect of CTAB; However, compared to the best amount of flocculant (M0) orsomewhat scattered.4. Through measuring the contact angle of stickies showed that: The material in paper feedingsystem can make the cationic surfactant (CTAB) on the pulp of the stickies to the contact Angleof stickies from lipophilicity to hydrophilic and dispersion effect; Make the anionic surfactant(SDBS) on the pulp of the stickies dispersed had certain inhibition; The non-ionic surface activerole was not very obvious.5. The flocculant agent M0agglomerated stickies, mainly because the right amount of M0could effective agglomerate stickies to form a dense parcel layer.6. By measuring the stickies in film contact angle, the pulp filtrate turbidity after pulping andthe bleached pulp demonstration experiments research showed that:the role of the charge had agreat scatter effect to stickies.7. Comparison of bleached pulp and paper stickies agglomeration effects can be seen that: thefeeding of the paper stock influenced the effect of M0’s agglomeration to stickies. Substances inthe waste paper pulping system can affect the agglomeration to stickies under the cationic surfactant and flocculantion agent.
