| Metering pump plays as one of the key components in spinning field. It has critical affections of fiber products’ quality and stability. Since the high precision characteristics of metering pump and working in an high pressure surroundings, the common test equipments and solutions can’t achieve the high precision requirements and high efficiency. This paper studies an automatic test system scenario, and analyzes the test data as well. The results show that it achieves the requirements of high precision.Firstly,4solutions are listed. Their advantages and disadvantages are evaluated. The fixed volume cup solution is selected based on the requirements of precision and costs. Secondly, pneumatic system for the testing oil routine. All12routines use overflow valve and needle valve to achieve the purpose of adjust each routine’s pressure respectively. The control system use PIC18F4550, the build in USB port is used as communication port to upstream industrial PC. The USB interface is studied as well. Regarding the system is working under the industrial circumstance, the Opto-isolator, RC noise constrain circuit are studied. The studies show appropriate solutions for EMC are essential and the communication is stable. Thirdly, slave control box firmware and PC software are studied. It shows USB port can achieve the data transit and communication requirements, and multi-threads software response stable in the aspect of data communication and handling. Finally, calibration is implemented on the system. And Gauge R&R also is studied. The data shows total Gauge R&R is14.81%, and NDC is9.In summary, various complex tests can be achieved through data acquisition and actuator control based upon industrial PC. The rational of this automatic test system gives practical experience of automatic test equipment and control system. |
