Digital inkjet printing technology is a kind of clean and environmental friendly high-tech printing technology. After input computer, the image which processed by digital technology, was edited by the printing color separation system. And then the inkjet printing system was controlled by special dyeing and printing software. Ink was printed directly to variety of fabric, and the required printing fabrics were formed. Nowadays the ink of inkjet printing ink is mainly dye ink. The dye is not fast and it produces more pollution to environment. The dye ink can’t used in blended fabric as the generality of dye ink is poor. So the development of digital ink jet printing technology is seriously hindered. But the generality of pigment ink of inkjet printing ink is better and it produces less pollution to environment. The marketing prospect of pigment inkjet printing ink is very wide. So it is necessary to development pigment inkjet printing ink with good performance.The preparation of ink has two steps. In the first phase, in order to discuss the influence of grinding conditions on the dispersion of ink, the formula of Cyan paste ink was fixed at first, then the grinding speed, the diameter of grinding mediums and the proportion of grinding mediums and paste ink was studied. So the best grinding condition was confirmed. Secondly, after selecting a variety of dispersion resin and different pigment/resin ratio, the influence of the variety of dispersion resin and pigment/resin ratio on the dispersibility of ink was studied. And the best pigment/resin ratio was confirmed. Finally, after selecting a variety of dispersing agent, the influence of variety and content of dispersant on the dispersibility of ink was studied. And the variety and amounts of dispersant was confirmed. In the second phase, during the dilute of Cyan color paste ink, the influence of adhesive, glyceriand and surfactant on the property of ink, such as viscosity, surface tension and conductive etc., was discussed. Furthermore, In order to discuss the color fastness of printed fabric, the influence of curing conditions, the variety and amounts of adhesive and the pH of ink on color fastness of printed fabric was studied.The results show that the dispersivity of ink was good when choosing proper grinding speed (1800-1900r/min), grinding media/color paste mass ratio (5), smaller grinding media diameter (1.0-1.2mm). The proper dispersion resin, pigment/resin ratios, types and amounts of dispersant have significant influence on pigment wettability, the liquidity and dispersivity of ink. The adhesive and glycerol have little influence on the viscosity and physicochemical properties of ink. The viscosity of ink increased, the surface tension and conductivity of ink declined with the increase of the amount of surfactant. The grade of color fastness of printed fabric is higher when the curing temperature is180℃and the curing time is90s. The color fastness of printed fabric is better when using water-based polyurethane as adhesive. The grade of soaping fastness and wet crocking fastness of printed fabric is lower with the increases of ink pH.
