Duchesnea india (Andr.) Focke of genus Duchesne (Rosaceae family) is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine, which is also called Sheputao, Sheguoteng, Sanpifeng. The dry leaves of Duchesnea india (Andr.) Focke contain a variety of active constituents, in order to study the structure of chemical constituents and pharmacological activity about Duchesnea india(Andr.) Focke, in this paper, the Duchesnea india (Andr.) Focke for extraction and separation, the identification of the component structure, and test parts the activity of the part chemical constituentsIn this study, we used silica gel column chromatography, thin layer chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method such as methylene chloride and ethyl acetate extract of purification, ten compounds were isolated from the plant. The structures of the seven compounds were identified by means of1H-NMR,13C-NMR spectra and MS, they are pinoresinol,3-O-cis-p-coumaroyl,3-O-trans-p-coumaroyl tomentic acid, euscaphic acid, tomentic acid, cinnamic acid, caffeic acid. Compounds1,4,5,7are first reported from this plant, the structure about lignans were identified from D.indica for the first time.By using DPPH radical scavenging method to test the antioxidant activity of the compounds which isolated from D.indica. The results showed that the DPPH radical scavenging rates of the compounds1and7were97.1%and94.6%respectively, the IC50value of compound1was2.73μ.g/mL, while the IC50value of vitamin C was2.58μg/mL. By using dual-Lueiferase reporter gene and MTT experiment to test the cell activity and cytotoxic activity of the compounds which isolated from D.indica, showed that the compound5had a certain inhibitory effect on Hep3B.The compounds were isolated in this experiment will provide the basis of experimental evidence for the further development of D.india.
