As one of the four major basic materials in industry, plastics have been widely used in various fields. Plastics have many superior performances, such as small density, light quality, stable chemical performance and good processing performance. With the increasing use of plastics, the waste plastics also have been increased also, which causes many results such as the decrease of land resource and environmental pollution. There are some methods to deal with the waste plastics at home and abroad. The most effective way among them is to recycle plastics. The recycling has the shortcoming of complex process, low recovery efficiency, low economic benefits and the secondary pollution. In the view of these problems, the waste plastics recycling technology has been studied in our laboratory. The topic is: The experiment and design of waste plastics granulating machine with recycling hot air. The main contents are as follows:1. To add the granulating section and cooling section on the previous machine to make it have the granulation function.2. The experimental research was conducted on the modified machine.3. The granulating process was simulated with software of POLYFLOW.4. The machine was designed on the basis of experimental study and numerical simulation analysis.
