Sulfanilic acid substances mainly used in the Preparation of the dyes, perfumes, etc., at thesame time used in the pharmaceutical and pesticide production, is an important chemicalsynthesis intermediates. Plant growth regulater is used to regulate plant growth as a class ofpesticides, especially synthetize plant growth regulaters, have high activity, and widely usedin agriculture. In this paper, high performance liquid chromatography as a means of foursulfanilic acid substances in environmental water and four plant growth regulaters pesticideresidues in apple have been detected, and the methodological characteristics investigated.Thisarticle consists of three main parts, namely:1.Summary of the basic theory of chromatography, focuses on the principle of highperformance liquid chromatography, classification, detector and prospects for development,as well as high performance liquid chromatography applications in environmental monitoringand food safety. Principles, applications, and Operation of the solid-phase extractiontechnology.2.Four kinds of subfanilic acid substances in environmental water were separated andanalyzed by reversed-phase liquid chromatography.Their recoveries range from93.27%to97.51%with the relative standard deviation of1.04%-2.39%. The detection limits ofAniline-2-sulfonic acid,metanilic acid,sulfanilic acid and1,4-Phenylenediamine-2-sulfonicacid is0.5mg/kg,0.5mg/kg,0.2mg/kg,and0.8mg/kg, respectively.The developed method is simple and fast,and can beused to detect sulfanilic acid substances in environmental water.3.A solid phase extraction/Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography method wasdeveloped for the analysis of residues of4-Chlorophenoxyacetic acid,5-nitroguaiacolate,Thidiazuron and thidiazuron in apple.Samples were extracted with80%acetonitrile watersolution,then concentrated and cleaned up on a HLB solid phase column.The separation oftarget compound was carried out on a BEH C18column(2.1mm×50mm,1.7μm)under gradientcondition using methanol-30mM NH4Ac as mobile phase.Their recoveries range from90.06%to95.18%with the relative standard deviation of1.04%-2.39%. The detection limitsof4-Chlorophenoxyacetic acid,5-nitroguaiacolate,thidiazuron and thidiazuron is0.5mg/kg,0.5mg/kg,0.5mg/kg,and0.2mg/kg, respectively.The developed method is simpleand fast,and can be used to detect four kinds of plant growth Regulater in apple.
