| The half-axle gear is an important mechanical basic parts in automobile differential and has been widely used in the automobile differential. In order to ensure that the quality of the half-axle gears meet the national standards and the requirements of users, multi-parameter test must be carried out in the production process of the half-axle gears. The run-out measurement of half-axle gears usually is completed by manual sampling in the factory. In order to improve the measurement accuracy and efficiency, this paper do automatic measurement technology research for the radial and face run-out of the half-axle gear.The run-out measurement is a reflection of the comprehensive quality of the workpiece and the measurement signal includes a run-out signal, error of the workpiece surface, error for workpiece geometry center does not coincide with the rotational center of the eccentricity and the base error. Based on the inductance sensor detection principle, this paper do measurement for half-axle gear radial and face run-out and analysis of the difficulties of affecting the accuracy, deal with half-axle gear’s inclined and eccentric phenomenon by virtual instrument technology. Formulate the measurement system, including mechanical system and control system as two parts.In this paper, the design of mechanical systems including half-axle gear feeding device, a positioning mechanism, run-out measurement apparatus and mechanical hand part. Feeding device to achieve through the belt transmission. Mechanical hand for half-axle gear transmitting between each station. After completion of the positioning, half-axle gear is transported to run-out measurement apparatus for radial and face run-out measurement, run-out measurement apparatus to achieve through the pneumatic components, and combined with the virtual instrument technology to complete the half-axle gear measurement and analysis.This paper completed the design of the measurement and control system, the measurement system based on Virtual Instrument Technology for detecting part, use the Lab VIEW acquisition test signal, using industrial control computer as the platform, complete the testing signal analysis and processing, computation and storage display etc. Cont section based on PLC control technology, control of the implementation of the device. PLC and IPC using I/O communication interface, PLC control the action of the mechanical components of the detection process and send a sampling signal to the IPC.IPC collects run-out measurement data, analysis and processing, display the measurement results, perform appropriate action, achieve the filter parameters to meet the requirements of the purpose of the half-axle gears.The run-out measurement results show that:the repeated measurement accuracy of testing instruments is±3μm, can meet the user’s requirements. |
