As the important part among all energy, oil is the key to a country’s economic prosperityand development. Although China has been developing new oil ifelds in order to meet users’demand for oil consumption in recent years, in the long run, only the comprehensivedevelopment and utilization of existing oil and gas ifelds,accurate exploration of oil and gasreserves, and establishing reasonable mining plan to extend the life of existing oil and gasifelds is the effective way to solve current oil supply and demand problem.The entire development process of oil and gas fields includes well drilling,well logging,well cementing and well completion. Since well cementing is always a one-time and hiddenprocess, it has become a key link of oil exploration. The well logging process can be dividedinto open hole logging and cased-hole logging. This paper is doing research of cased-holecementing. The traditional method of oil cementing is: ifrst after the pressure test of ceasingpipes, put them into the drilled wells; then add cement to the ceasing pipes and pressed into therubber plug; after this, the rubber plug goes down slowly because of the mud on top of it, thenthe cement in ceasing pipes will be pressed into the annular space between the ceasing walland the borehole wall; last after the cement is iflled up the annular space and solidiifed, the oilcementing is ifnished.As can be seen,in conventional cementing process, the rubber plug was pressed into theannular space only because of the pressure of the mud, so it’ll be very easy to generate airbubbles in space between the ceasing wall and the borehole wall due to the non uniformpressure of the rubber plug as well as the uneven mixture of cement, which will result in thefailure of oil cementing process. This paper aims at solving this problem by designing amonitoring and control system for the rubber plug. The main function of this system is asfollows: ifrst set the vibration frequency of the rubber plug to its resonant frequency tomaximize its vibration; then the entire system will be put into the well ifxed by thewater-soluble glue, which aims at monitoring the rubber plug vibration; after the rubber plug reaches the bottom of the well and stops working, inject water to the ceasing pipes. Since theentire device is less dense than water and the total weight is lighter, it’ll float to the wellhead;remove the system and read out the stored signal in it and then we’ll know the real-timeworking process of the rubber plug in the underground.This paper ifnishes tasks of designing the monitoring and control system of the rubberplug shell,data acquisition, hardware circuit design and verification of signal acquisition byusing Labview software and so it has a large engineering practical signiifcance and value.
