China is a country with coal production and coal power. However, our country coaloccurrence conditions of complex, coal and gas outburst, resulting in conditions of safetyproduction of the coal enterprises complex, the coal mine safety production has been thefocus of attention of the coal industry in china, how perception of mine safety whenever andwherever possible, check the running state of the production line monitoring system becomeurgent need. With the continue development of geographic information technology(GIS),wireless communication technology and intelligent terminal-based mobile applicationdevelopment technology, it has become the research focus of the intelligent terminal auxiliarycoal mine production safety monitoring in the industry.On the basis of original PC-based fixed-point positioning remote monitoring system, thepaper proposed coal mine production safety monitoring system based on intelligent terminals,and combined with the actual business needs of coal mining enterprises, design andimplement a GIS system of coal mine safety monitoring based on the Android platform. Themain part of paper first analyzes the function requirements of coal mine production safetymonitoring system based on intelligent terminals, introduces mine remote security monitoringsystem model and discusses the theory and key technology of GIS technology, UCMaptechnology, Android platform as well as Socket communication required for systemdevelopment. On this basis, proposed the overall structure and software features of theAndroid platform GIS system of coal mine safety monitoring model, completed the design ofthe overall structure of the system, function module design of software and the use of Javalanguage using Android platform for the realization of the code. Finally, according to thebasic principles of software testing and software test case, software of the intelligent termianalhas been tested in a simulated environment and on the real machine. The results indicate that the developed system is stable and reliable, it has a good man-machine interface andoperability, can achieve real-time visual monitoring of the mine date.
