Traditional data acquisition system in the field of industrial production is to use serial communication to connect terminal with host pc processing system. This technology limits the range of movement of the operator and does not apply to certain situations. At the same time, Android operating system on a handheld device obtains the popularization and application in recent years. Through the handheld devices such as mobile phones and tablets to obtain data well will greatly improve the efficiency of system. Based on Android application development, short distance wireless communication technology and network technology are used in oil field monitoring system. It can realize the intelligent monitoring of oil field data acquisition and have become the future development direction.This paper analyzes and compares the short distance wireless communication technology in the communication distance, including the analysis of the common frequency resources, transmission rate and power consumption. It is combined with the specific functional requirements of oil field monitoring project. The author researches a relay switching system based on Zig Bee and Wi Fi technology in order to realize the monitoring data transmission and indicator diagram display. It is proposed a good stability, low power consumption, high reliability software and hardware architecture. Zig Bee-Wi Fi converter is designed. It is completed Zig Bee network seamless transfer to the Wi Fi network. A terminal data transmission mechanism is investigated and realized. The application based on Android system is realized combining with the demand of monitoring system. It is also researched the modular design method. It is Completed the upgrade of wireless program.The research results show that the design of relay converter is rational and the network operation is stable.It also indicates that its data transmission is reliable and the graphic display is accurate. This system can meet the demand of mobile monitoring platform in oil field. It can provide an effective way for monitoring system in other fields.
