In recent years, after long time exploration, scientists announce that the ocean will become the main source of natural products, especially for structurally novel and bioactive compounds. So far, there have been7marine drugs used for clinical treatment, such as Eribulin, which was approved for treatment of breast cancer in2010, and its leading compound Halichondria B was separated from sponge Halichondria okadai. China set foot in marine drug since1989, till now, more than10marine drugs have been put on production, bringing great economic and social benefit。In order to find structurally novel and bioactive compounds, two marine organisms have been systemically studied. By Means of extraction, silica gel (VLC), gel column (Sephadex LH-20), reverse silica gel column (ODS), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC),23compounds isolated from the extracts of Two Marine organisms including five new compounds. Known compounds were evaluated for the vitro cytotoxicity. Meanwhile the new compounds were evaluated the growth suppress of NCI-H929and antifungal activity in vivoThe marine sponge Halichondriasp. Belongs to class Demospongiae, order Halichondrida, and family Halichondridae. The soft sponge Branch (Halichondridae), Thay are very common in the subtropical regions. Halichondria sp.is a soft sponge that have many shapes, often form a common epiphytic relationship with a number of micro-organisms. Currently, the compounds from a soft sponge including:a cyclic peptide, a macrolide, a poly ether, alkaloids, terpenoids, steroids. Most of them have good biological activity. The marine sponge Halichondria sp. collected in the Xisha Islands in2009.12compounds were isolated and purified from the CH2Cl2fraction of the ethanol extraction and chromatography methods including VLC, LPLC, MPLC, HPLC on silica gel, ODS C-18and Sephadex LH-20. and indentified as isonootkatoneol (1)*,2,5-Dihydroxy-Homoverrucosane (2)*,5,18-DihydroxyHomoverrucosane (3)*,5-hydroxyl-18-aldehyde-Homoverrucosane (4)*,2-hydroxyl-5-oxo-Homoverrucosanone (5)*,4α-Isocyanogorgon-11-Ene (6), Homoverrucosanol (7), neoverrucosanol (8),5α,6α-Epoxy-(22E)-ergosta-8,14,22-tnene-3β,7α-diol (9),5α,8α-epidioxy-(22E,24R)-ergosta-6,22-dien-3β-ol (10),(22E,24R)-ergosta-7,22-diene-3β,5α,6α,9α-tetrol (11),3β,5α,9α,14β-tetrahydroxy-(22E)-ergosta-7,22-dien-6-one (12). Known compounds were evaluated for the vitro cytotoxicity. the selected cells are tumor cell lines A549, HeLa tumor cell line, SK-OV-3cells. Compounds6and9showed weak cytotoxic against tumor cell lines A549, and IC50value of2.8μM and8.4μM. Compounds6,8and9showed weak cytotoxic against tumor cell lines HeLa, and IC50value of11.0μM,29.0μM and36.3μM. Meanwhile the new compounds were evaluated the growth suppress of NCI-H929and antifungal activity in vivo. The new compounds showed no activity of growth suppress of NCI-H929, but showed a certain antifungal activity in vivo. The Green algae Pseudendoclonium akinetum, Belongs to Phylum Chlorophyta, Classulvophyceae, the Order Ulvales and Family Kornmanniaceae. Pseudendoclonium akinetum collected in Zhejiang coastal in2010. Eleven compounds were isolated from the extracts (CH2Cl2:MeOH=2:1) of Pseudendoclonium akinetum and indentified as di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (13),α-Linolenic Acid (14), stearic acid (15), diisobutyl phthalate (16), dibutyl phthalate (17), cholesterol (18),β-sitosteros (19), uracil (20), loliolide (21),3,6-dimethylpiperazine-2,5-dione (22),3-isopropyl-6-methylpiperazine-2,5-dione (23). All the compounds were isolated from Pseudendoclonium akinetum for the first time.all compounds were evaluated for the vitro cytotoxicity. The selected cells are tumor cell lines A549, HeLa tumor cell line, SK-OV-3cells, and compound21exhibited weak cytotoxicity against the A549and the HeLa cell line.
