Stainless steel fibers have good conductive properties, resistance to corrosion,heat resistance, high strength and shielding, radiation protection performance, alsohave good strength and gloss. So it is interesting for people to pay attention on thewide applications. it is shows that stainless steel fibers in the textile field have got acertain degree of application and development,such as developing the conductivityradiation and anti-static properties with blended stainless steel fibers with cotton,cashmere fibers.The paper chooses Sirofil spinning technology in spinning process with wool andstainless steel single filament of which the choosing the diameter of stainless steelfiber is25ÎĽm, after the drafted wool sliver and stainless steel filament mix in thetwisting triangular area, spin the stainless steel and wool blended yarn of which linedensity is13.34tex. The design of fabric tissue and structure is using warp and weftintersection permutation of stainless steel and wool blended yarn and ordinary woolyarn. Through designing the stainless steel content in the fabric, yarn arrangement,weft and warp ratio, structure, and research weaving technology, forms three differenttissue worsted fabric of lattice, double layer and birds eye. That stainless steel fiberarrangement and organization structure on electromagnetic shielding properties andelectrical conductivity are studied. Experiments show that the content of stainlesssteel is proportional to the electromagnetic radiation properties and conductivity.In thefinishing processing study, respectively research the cooking, singeing and shearing,drying and decating process effecting on the electromagnetic shielding performanceand conductivity of the fabric, after the final experimental optimizing and contrasting,get the optimal process: singeingâ†'boil+roll bakingâ†'CIMI washingâ†'soft bakingâ†'shearingâ†'dryingâ†'continuous distillationâ†'steaming pot. On the basic of fabricresearch, with nanometer silicon oil and water repellent finishing, the fabric get thefunction of anti electromagnetic radiation, antistatic, oil resistant and water repellent.At the end of the fabric performance of stainless steel and wool fabric, threekinds of products of the performance indicators have reached the national standard ofgrade requirements. The principal authority on the comprehensive properties of the product were tested: stainless steel and wool fabric for electromagnetic waveshielding effect value can reach above30dB; anti static point resistance above thevalue of4.1Ă—106Ω, the performance of anti-static clothing reaches A-levelrequirements; oil resistant properties reaches grade6, water repellent propertiesachieves to grade4. Meet the needs of the market on the worsted wool fabric functiondemand with anti electromagnetic radiation, antistatic, oil resistant and waterrepellent..
