As the demanded of personalized products gradually increased, thewater transfer printing technology also will be more widely applied. Butnow, the water transfer printing remains to be further improvement andbreakthrough, not only to satisfy the needs of the consumers, but also inthe green environmental protection and the production efficiency. Andwater transfer printing material, process and application should be made atechnological package to further develop and improve the water transferprinting technology. The water transfer which is environmental friendlyand high efficiency, totally adopted Water-based inks, non-toxic activatorand color inkjet printing, will be the direction and focus in the future. The paper studied on Preparation and Application of nitrocellulosetransfer material of Water Transfer Printing based on Ink-jet Printing PVAfilm. The main content of the thesis is listed as follow: nano-SiO2graft-modified by coupling agent was used to prepare nitrocellulose/acrylic resin/nano-SiO2composite material and the interface structure, wettability and the transfer effect were studied. Use the layer, we candetermine the formula and transfer process of the Ink-jet printing in watertransfer printing through the transfer effect from water temperature, content of PVA, the transition layer thickness and the activatorcomponents. The results showed that: the nano-SiO2modified by10%KH-570had a better dispersion in organic solvent, and wettability of thenitrocellulose/nano-SiO2composite material had improved. Increasingthe concentrations of nitrocellulose and decreasing the concentrations ofacrylic resin could reduce the elongation. The initial contact angle wasreduced by increasing nano-SiO2. Then, the optimal process conditions ofInk-jet printing in water transfer printing is:20%nitrocellulose as themain film forming material,20%acrylic resin as plasticizer and binder,4.0%modified nano-SiO2as the surfactant. In the transfer process, thewater temperature should be25-30℃, the thickness of transition layer is14-18μm, the activator is mixed solvent with acetone, toluene and xylene, and the concentrations of PVA is less than2.0%.
