Nowadays, plastic products have entered our lives and production. Modern plastics products have more complicated structures, thinner wall and higher standard of precision and cosmetic detect. The customer’s standards of quality and injection technology are increasingly harsh. So people are paying more attention to precision injection molding technology. Then the high-end plastic products are gradually being used in our lives. In order to lower the develop cycle-time, cost, and defect rate of high-end plastic products, get high quality plastic products, the early estimate and analysis process and method is extremely important.This paper chooses the representative product of high-end injection molding field, mini conference system’s Top Cover as the topic. The author ensured the quality of plastic product by building the method of early estimate and analyse the high-end plastic products, which is based on manufacturing plastics, tooling design, estimate of injection, and reasons for defect of plastic products.The author analyses the defects which may occur to the plastic product and reasons for those defects, including product structure, tooling design, raw material, molding technique and injection equipment. The analysis will help the author finding reasonable solutions to optimize manufacturing and control cost.The author founded the standard of choosing and estimating material. The author will doing the early estimate from setting gate style and location and setting cooling system.The author builds a finite element numerical simulation model of the top cover of mini conference system with the platform of Moldflow to simulate the process data of filling and cooling. By this way, the author optimizes the design of putting gate in tooling. The author uses the Moldflow, with orthogonal test method, to test the simulation. Then the author chooses the warpage as quality assessment index and research how the warpage been affected by injection pressure, packing pressure, melt temperature, injection time and packing time and finally the author can get the best parameter. Based on the analysis of early time estimation, the author finished the design of molding, cooling and venting system and confirmed the final test parameter. The author also used the anti-deformation compensation method to control the deformation of plastic products. Then, the author can get a good-quality plastic product.
