Mine mobile refuge chamber is an important emergency equipment. Miners in mine mobile refuge chamber may completely lose contact with the outside world. They can’t understand the situation of mine mobile refuge chamber, leading to increase the difficulty of escape depend on themselves or rescuers. It is very necessary to research on outside environmental monitoring system for mine mobile refuge chamber. This paper summarizes the development and application status of mine mobile refuge chambers, and outside environment detection methods by plenty of investigation and analysis. According to the shortcomings of existing outside environment detection methods, this paper designs a kind of outside environmental monitoring system for mine mobile refuge chamber.First of all, the paper analyses the shock wave and temperature variation resulting from mine gas explosion in roadway. The results of analysis provides the basis and guidance for system layout, selection of sensors and design of the protection device. In addition, the paper designs monitoring system’s overall frame based on the principle of embedded system.Secondly, this paper respectively designs the hardware and software of outside environmental monitoring system for mine mobile refuge chamber, and tests the monitoring system functional achievement through the simulation experiment. It chooses reasonable devices such as microprocessor, environmental sensors and displayer etc. according to the environmental monitoring system requirements. Besides, it designs these devices’ electric circuits for hardware of monitoring system. In addition, it designs software of monitoring system based on hardware, including start-up program, signal acquisition, parameter display, functional option and so on. Finally, it tests the monitoring system functional achievement through the simulation experiment. The experimental results conform to design goals.Finally, this paper designs and analyses the protective device through3D mechanical design analysis software. It designs and draws3D graphics of protective device’s mechanical structure. Besides, it analyses the structural strength for protective device. The analysis results show that the protective device can protect monitoring system sensors in the outside of mine mobile refuge chamber. In this paper, it researches on outside environmental monitoring system for mine mobile refuge chamber. It puts forward a feasible design scheme, and designs the hardware and software for the outside environmental monitoring system for mine mobile refuge chamber. It Can effectively solve some shortcomings of the existing outside environment detection methods. This paper could provide some technical references for mine mobile refuge chamber and monitoring system in mine.
