Along with the large-scale construction of our country coal mine, the development of emulsion pump will toward be in the direction of the large displacement and high pressure. The development of large displacement emulsion pump test equipment has important practical significance and applied value.According to the coal industry standard "MT/T188.2-2000Emulsion pump station used in mines emulsion pump", aimed at the characteristics of large displacement emulsion pump, and through the research of parameters and performance of the large displacement emulsion pump on the market at present, the main technical parameters and overall program of the experimental equipment are proposed. To improve the degree of automation of the test process, it needs to choose various high-precision sensors to collect signals with test system hardware, and to use computer control centrally through data acquisition card processing.Through research that it can meet the need of the large displacement emulsion pump test only by using non-power recovery test equipment. It can overcome that the power recovery type hydraulic test technique is not mature. The power recovery type hydraulic test technique exists some shortcomings, for example:complex system structure, complicated operation and high cost.According to research and calculation, the design capacity of test-bed was defined. Some hardware structures of the large displacement emulsion pump test-bed were introduced. By comparing the variety scheme, it was concluded that:to improve velocity modulation performance of the test-bed, easy control and energy-saving, frequency control technology was selected; in order to reduce the pressure pulsation, the kind and parameters of accumulator must be selected reasonably; in order to meet the situations of large displacement and high-pressure and improve system efficiency, cartridge proportional relief valve was choose. The design must be integrated and modular to meet the test requirements of parameters, the design of the hydraulic system schematic was got.The source of test-bed’s systematic errors was given. Combined with various sensor models, the system error of the test-bed efficiency was calculated. Through the analysis and calculation of the emulsion pump efficiency, the influencing factors and solutions were given. Through processing test data and performance charts, the feasibility and rationality of the test-bed on design parameters mentioned in this subject was verified.
