Nowadays, the national demanding of cement equipment manufacturing markets is gradually rebounding from the depression of the economic crisis in2009, while the quality expectations of both cement equipment and services rise to a higher level as well. As a result, an enterprise who desires to enhance its competency and to gain more market shares should optimize business process, upgrade manufacturing capability and improve management quality, so as to meet the ever-increasing and mutable service demanding from clients. However, because of coarse management regulations, ineffective coordination among departments and separation of business processes, it is difficult to integrate and optimize multiple business processes in most of the national cement equipment manufacturing enterprises, let alone providing better products and services for clients. As a positive contribution, this paper investigates the management models for cement equipment enterprises and the involved techniques based on manufacture information engineering, focusing on the digital implements of cement manufacturing enterprises and the development of digital management platforms for equipment manufacturing; therefore, by using digital technologies, the business processes are optimized and more manageable, which helps to enhance the enterprise’s market competency. The main work and contributions of this paper are as follows:(1) The features of the business organization in cement equipment manufacturing enterprises are analyzed first, and then the current problems in business operation procedures are presented. After that, an optimized business process is introduced for large cement equipment manufacturing enterprises. Also, we design a specific logic model suitable to cement equipment manufacturing, and present a series of algorithms, including an algorithm used for the major manufacturing plan and key-capacity requirement plan, an algorithm for material requirement plan and capacity requirement plan, ABC material categorizing algorithm, and a strategy for stock counting, safe stock and material purchase. At last, cement equipment manufacturing management platform is built. (2) The data and function designs for technique management, producing management, purchasing management, quality management, storing and transporting management and financial management, et al, in the cement equipment manufacturing digital management platform, are studied. And, the associated data structures and function flowcharts are presented. We have also studied the key techniques and solutions for all modules involved.(3) Take a large cement equipment manufacturing enterprise as an instance, according to its detailed requirements, we build its cement equipment manufacturing digital management platform using the models and technique proposals proposed in the previous chapters of this paper. The validity of the proposed logic models and technique proposals is proved by the feedback during the practical usage of the proposed platform.
