Because of the high-production and multi-function of the chemical fibers, they are popular with people. Among the chemical fibers, profiled fibers greatly improve the performance of the fibers and are widely used in the clothing, decoration and industrial textile areas by virtue of different fiber materials and cross-sectional shapes. Currently, people focus on the research of the profiled polyester fibers. The investigation of the profiled polyacrylonitrile fibers is few. The main topic of the paper is polyacrylonitrile fibers which is Dralon fine denier fiber. The main topic is the technology research of fine denier and profiled acrylic and productions to provide the information about the profiled fiber research. The investigation shows that:(1) The article is aimed at the structural features and productions of fine denier and profiled Dralon acrylic. The cross section, tensile properties, water permeability and dyeing properties of fine denier and profiled Dralon acrylic are analyzed by the experiments. The result shows that the strength of fine denier and profiled Dralon acrylic is close to the Japanese denier and profiled acrylic, but is more than its; the elongation of the Japanese denier and profiled acrylic is. lager than fine denier and profiled Dralon acrylic; the dynamic or static coefficient of friction, modulus and moisture regain of fine denier and profiled Dralon acrylic are greater than Japanese acrylic fiber, fine denier and profiled Dralon acrylic’s is moisture absorption is better than that of Japan.(2) For the performance of the yarns, the topic is to compare the mechanical properties, moisture regain and hairiness index of denier and profiled Dralon acrylic60/viscose40yarn with that of Japanese denier and profiled acrylic60/viscose40yarn. The result shows that the strength and the moisture regain of denier and profiled Dralon acrylic60/viscose40yarn is greater than that of Japanese denier and profiled acrylic60/viscose40yarn; the elongation and hairiness index of the denier and profiled Dralon acrylic60/viscose40yarn is less than the Japanese denier and profiled acrylic60/viscose40yarn.(3) The article is aimed at the wearability of fine denier and profiled Dralon acrylic. The bursting strength, pilling resistance, thermal properties, air permeability and moisture permeability of fine denier and profiled Dralon acrylic fabric and the Japanese denier and profiled acrylic fabric are analyzed by the experiments. The result shows that bursting strength, pilling resistance, air permeability and moisture permeability of the fine denier and profiled Dralon acrylic fabric are better than the same condition of Japanese denier and profiled acrylic fabric; the heat preservation performance of the Japanese denier and profiled acrylic fabric are better than the fine denier and profiled Dralon acrylic fabric, but there is litter difference.(4) For the fabric style, the tensile properties, the shear properties, the bending properties. the compression property, the surface friction properties of denier and profiled Dralon acrylic60/viscose40fabric and the Japanese denier and profiled acrylic60/viscose40fabric are analyzed by the experiments. The softness, fullness and slippery waxy degree are tested through establishing regression equation. The result shows that the softness, fullness and delicious of denier and profiled Dralon acrylic60/viscose40fabric is better than that of Japanese denier and profiled acrylic60/viscose40fabric.
