With the continuous development of the petrochemical industry,storage tanks have gradually become an indispensable part of the petrochemical industry and storage and transportation systems.At present,the number of storage tanks built in various countries in the world is also increasing,but the problem of evaporation loss of oil products has been plaguing people.The evaporation loss of oil products not only poses a certain threat to the economy and the environment,but also causes a decline in the quantity and quality of oil products.Therefore,it is very necessary to find an efficient and economical measure to reduce oil evaporation loss by exploring the causes and changes of oil evaporation loss.This paper firstly analyzes the mechanism of oil evaporation loss of vertical storage tanks,comparatively analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of several existing oil loss calculation methods,and at the same time establishes a relatively novel The method of calculating oil loss,and its rationality was verified by example calculation and simulation calculation.Secondly,starting from the factors that affect the loss of oil in the vertical storage tank,a program for the phase change of the oil evaporation process is written in C language,a reasonable model is established,and the FLUENT software is used to focus on the storage tank in the breather valve baffle and The simulation calculations were carried out under the interference of ambient temperature,and the distribution cloud map of the flow field in the storage tank was obtained.After the post-processing,the changes of the oil and gas concentration and the oil and gas exhaled volume in the storage tank were obtained.Finally,based on the current measures to reduce oil loss in storage tanks,it is further proposed that adsorption and condensation methods combined with oil and gas recovery technology and closed energy-saving recovery devices in tanks should be used to reduce the problem of oil evaporation loss.
